Job summary

Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd is seeking an experienced Work Winning / Bid Manager to drive pursuit activities from pre-engagement through to post tender. You will lead bid teams, coordinate inputs from clients, consultants, and supply chain, and ensure compliant, high-quality responses.

You will develop bid programmes, budgets, and governance processes, coaching and mentoring a diverse team. The role focuses on Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare and Heritage sectors across national opportunities,

Qualifications

• Experience in Work Winning/Bid management with governance focus.
• Ability to coach, mentor, lead a diverse bid team.
• Strong negotiation and people-management skills for cross-sector teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunity pursuit for key clients in multiple sectors.
• Coordinate bid inputs from Clients, Consultants and Supply Chain.
• Develop detailed bid programmes, budgets and win strategy.
• Maintain CRM data and governance compliance throughout bids.
• Support improvement of bid processes and evidence gathering.
