Job summary

Apogee Corporation Ltd is seeking an experienced Bid Strategist to shape and secure strategic opportunities, moving beyond bid coordination to become a partner to sales, operations and executive stakeholders.

You will lead complex framework bids across the full lifecycle, developing winning strategies, content and governance, while coaching others and driving continuous improvement, including AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bid management and bid writing.
• Proven success delivering strategic, complex or framework bids.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop winning strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience leading virtual bid teams and coordinating contributions from multiple subject matter experts.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple strategic, complex and framework bid opportunities from qualification through to submission.
• Develop winning bid strategies and customer-focused value propositions.
• Create compelling written content, executive summaries and strategic narratives.
• Challange and influence stakeholders to ensure solutions are commercially sound and aligned to customer requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional bid teams and manage submissions against deadlines.
• Support customer presentations, pitch activities and negotiation strategies.
• Lead bid reviews and identify lessons learned to improve future performance.
• Promote bidding best practice across the business and coach colleagues.
