Strategic Account Manager - Retail & Technology

Up to £130k + OTE

Hybrid - London base, with UK travel as needed

We're partnering with a global technology services organisation looking for a Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of some of their most valuable enterprise clients. This is a senior role, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of client strategy - driving growth, nurturing long-term partnerships, and aligning technology with business outcomes.

You’ll be managing a portfolio currently worth around £3‑4 million, with scope to grow it to £10 million+, working closely with senior stakeholders across complex, multi‑layered organisations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading strategic relationships with key enterprise clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Developing account strategies that align technology solutions with clients’ wider business goals.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and leading the full sales cycle.
  • Collaborating with delivery and technical teams to ensure service excellence and client success.
  • Creating and executing account plans, managing performance metrics, and ensuring profitable delivery.
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years’ experience in account management or sales (ideally within IT, consulting, or tech services).
  • 3+ years working in a service‑based environment.
  • A background in programme or product management.
  • Proven success managing portfolios of £8‑10 million.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to navigate large, complex organisations.
  • Confident engaging at C‑suite level and aligning tech strategy with business outcomes.
  • Experience working with Retail clients and supporting them through technology‑led solutions.
