Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience in communications, marketing, PR, journalism, fundraising, or a related field.
• Strong social media and digital content skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A creative team player with a passion for compelling storytelling.
• Occupational requirement: Evangelical Christian per Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Create content for the website, fundraising appeals, emails, social media, and donor communications.
• Write stories, press releases, and marketing materials that inspire action and support ministry growth.
• Manage and monitor social media channels, including responding to comments and messages.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, print projects, and communications activities.
• Support photography and video projects and travel within the UK to gather stories and interviews.
• Monitor communications performance and provide reporting and insights.
• Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with Samaritan's Purse messaging.
