Job description
The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected company based in the Hartlepool area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position.

MTrec are currently looking for people to start within the next 7 working days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.

The Role:
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Book in materials using the internal stock control system, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials and finished products for production and dispatch.
  • Safely load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment (training provided if required).
  • Operate forklifts or pallet trucks to transport materials between departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with company standards.
  • Liaise with production, quality, and logistics teams to support daily workflow and resolve any stock issues.
  • Assist in regular stock counts and inventory audits, ensuring traceability and accuracy.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE and following safe handling procedures.
The Person:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment (manufacturing experience an advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident using computers or stock management systems.
  • A team player with good communication and time-management skills.
  • Forklift licence desirable (but not essential – training may be provided).
