Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team seeks a Stores Operator (FTC) to support the stores and inventory function, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and movement of parts across the business. You will work with Stores, Logistics, Procurement, and Parts Co-ordination to maintain stock accuracy and traceability for racing activities.

You will be responsible for marking and serialising parts, recording data in ERP and Lifing systems, and ensuring timely availability.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a stores/inventory role or motorsport environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts through goods in with alignment to delivery notes and POs.
• Perform receipting, picking, and stock control to maintain accuracy and traceability.
• Ensure part marking and serialization meet company standards.
• Document part and serial markings in ERP and Lifing systems.
• Pick against demand and flag unavailable items.
• Manage rolling stock levels and identify future demand.
• Maintain a clean, organised stores environment.

Job description

As our Stores Operator (FTC), you will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation of the TGR Haas F1 Team Stores & Inventory function.

Reporting to the Stores & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, control, and movement of parts across the business. Working closely with Stores, Logistics, Procurement, and Parts Coordination teams, you will help ensure stock accuracy, traceability, and the timely availability of components that support the team's operational and racing activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Stores & Inventory Operations

• Receive parts through goods in, ensuring delivery notes, purchase orders, and physical quantities are aligned.
• Conduct accurate receipting, picking, and stock control activities to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Ensure part marking and serialization meet company standards.
• Complete part and serial marking to maintain traceability within ERP and Lifing systems.
• Pick against demand requirements and flag unavailable items.
• Manage rolling stock levels of proprietary parts and identify future demand requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised stores environment.

Inventory Control & Logistics

• Work with stores, logistics, procurement, and parts coordinators to ensure accurate stock movements and accountability.
• Support loading and unloading of freight requirements alongside the logistics team.
• Ensure accurate ERP system data entry and alignment between physical and digital records.
• Understand technical drawings to verify delivered parts and assemblies.
• Work with the Parts and Stores Coordinator on departmental priorities.
• Travel to events when required to support a professional parts service.

What You’ll Bring

• GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or motorsport environment (preferably Formula 1).
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet liability/casualty insurance requirements.

• Ability to manage inventory and traceability requirements.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across multiple departments.
• Ability to work within fast-paced operational environments.

Tools & Systems

• Good computer skills, ideally including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Power BI, Outlook, and Teams.
• Knowledge of race car parts and assemblies, including vendors, part functions, serialization, and part numbers.
• Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements.
