Job description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Service across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service, and is seeking a Stores Operative/HGV Driver to join this service based in the North Wales Area based at Glan Clwyd Hospital Laundry.

This post is primarily for the transportation of clean and dirty linen from YGC Linen Service to community and acute sites across North Wales.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES HGV CAT C LICENSE AND CPC

Main duties of the job

As a Health Courier Service Stores Operative/HGV Driver you will be responsible for stock items in stores centres and also for the safe and secure transport, distribution and replenishment of laundry and you may where required occasionally be asked to support other divisions transporting stock and miscellaneous items.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
