Job summary

CMbE CarnaudMetalbox Engineering in Shipley is seeking a Stores Operative for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role requires experience in stores, familiarity with AWMS/IBS and JDE, and basic IT skills. An in-date Aisle Master/Bendi forklift licence would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will join a team focused on accurate goods receipt, data entry, and smooth warehouse operations. Excellent communication and initiative are valued as you interact with Stores and other departments.

Job Description: We have a new vacancy for Stores Operatives to be based at our site in Shipley on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Your mission in CMbE The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Stores environment and will be proficient on AWMS/IBS and JDE. A good understanding of computers and basic software, such as Microsoft office will be required. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE).

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to communicate with the Stores team and wider departments. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when problem solving. Ideal candidates will have experience of, or a willingness to learn, basic Windows Microsoft functions, goods receiving and data entry systems - especially JDE/IBS. An in-date Aisle Master/Bendi and counterbalance FLT licences would be advantageous.
