DPD UK is a leading parcel delivery company in the UK, offering a permanent 40-hour week role focused on stock control and efficient warehouse operations. The role requires maintaining stock levels, liaising with stores and suppliers, and delivering high-quality customer service to employees and managers at stores.
You will work 08:00–16:30, with a learning night shift in the first week; training includes using Agresso, stock systems and the company’s health & safety standards.

The individual is expected to ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
A great level of communication is required to liaise with suppliers when purchasing goods and ensuring they are delivered in a good time.
A great level of customer service skills are required when dealing with and serving the employees & Managers at stores.
Daily stock checks of Stores databases to ensure there are no discrepancies, and subsequently resolving or communicating out to relevant parties on issues found.
Ordering stores stocked items & Ad hoc orders, including bulk orders from suppliers that are not used frequently, and distributing stock to other Hubs
Using Agresso to raise orders and PO’s
Checking in and out operational equipment and ensuring it is fully charged and ready for the next shift.
Using our inhouse Stock systems including google forms & sheets and WMS database.
Maintain the trailer net process in each hub to ensure we are not over issuing nets.
Informing Stores Manager to update stock database with new codes & employee No’s.
Ensure a daily handover is sent over for the night team in all sites.

What we are looking for:
Strong work ethic and self-motivation, crucial for maintaining high performance standards
High attention to detail, essential for accurate parcel handling and processing
Good organisational skills to effectively manage workload and meet operational targets
Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently under high-pressure situations and strict deadlines
Flexibility, willingness and capability to adapt to various roles within the warehouse environment as operational needs dictate
Physical capacity to lift, load, and carry items weighing up to 25kg on a regular basis
Some understanding of Health and Safety practices within a warehouse setting would be advantageous
