Job description

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Stores Operative. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This Stores Operative position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution of aircraft parts and components in compliance with aviation industry standards.

Role Responsibilities
  • Efficiently pick, pack, and return parts on time
  • Manage material issuance and dispatch per company procedures.
  • Follow Goods In/Out processes and book spare parts accurately.
  • Support LEAN improvements and meet department KPI targets.
  • To be a part of the "Stores Improvement Project".
  • All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Stores Team Leader or Stores Leading Hand.
  • Adherence to current practices and Implementation of Total Quality Management as applicable to the department operations i.e. LEAN project Management
  • An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company's environmental procedures.
  • Collecting or delivering of parts/materials
  • You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience
Skills and Experience required
  • Basic computer literacy and numeracy.
  • Familiarity with computer systems.
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience desirable.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive thinker.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strong communicator with leadership skills.
  • Open to suggesting improvements.
  • If required, must pass background checks for working in a known consignor area.

Double day shift - Monday to Friday one week 6am to 2pm and the next 2pm to 10pm rotating weekly.

Up to £25,725 salary plus shift allowance on top.
