Job Description

We are seeking an organised and efficient Stores Operative to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory flow, and maintaining accurate stock records.

• receipting and processing of part deliveries
• collating and checking of parts for supply to the manufacturing area
• loading and unloading of deliveries and dispatch
• packing and dispatch of finished products including machinery
• general stores duties.
• Flexibility to work in other departments, after suitable training, with the opportunity to grow skills in different disciplines

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is preferred

• Proficiency in inventory management and stock control systems
• Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management software
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
• Five years of experience as a forklift operator, holder of a forklift certificate.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical fitness to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to commute to our Bristol warehouse location
