Job summary

ADE Power Ltd. is recruiting a Stores Person to coordinate our stores area and manage materials through receipt, allocation and stock control. You will liaise with buying, prepare kits from BOMs, and support production with timely material availability.

The role requires a full UK driving license, a forklift counterbalance license, and experience with stock control systems in a manufacturing environment. Training for additional certifications is available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license required.
• Forklift counterbalance license required.
• Scissor lift and cherry picker certs preferred; in-house training available.
• Experience with MRP/stock control system.
• Experience in warehouse/stock control roles with good stock management.

Responsibilities

• Goods-in and allocation of materials to stores area.
• Add materials/stock to internal stock control system.
• Pick materials for production and manufacturing departments.
• Liaise with purchasing to resolve stock queries.
• Operate a Counterbalance FLT to move stock.
• Drive company vehicles for collections/deliveries when required.
• Maintain high housekeeping in stores area.
• Ensure timely build-up of kits for production.
• Read BOMs and capture required parts and timing.
• Quality inspection of dispatched parts for production readiness.
