Overview

Parts Manager
Our client, a well-established heavy machinery business is seeking a highly organised and driven Parts & Stores Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the parts function. This is a key role working closely with service teams, technicians and suppliers to ensure efficient stock control, fast parts turnaround and strong internal support.

Responsibilities
  • Order and receive parts, check and process invoices on the company system
  • Goods In/Out management, stock allocation, and CRM stock updates
  • Maintain parts storage area to a high standard of organisation
  • Full accountability for the smooth running of the parts department
  • Return parts to suppliers and track refunds/credit notes to completion
  • Maintain stock levels of consumables and spare parts
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal teams to build strong working relationships
  • Provide administrative and service department support when required (holiday/sickness cover)
Requirements
  • Background in parts administration / stores within plant machinery or a similar technical industry
  • Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • IT confident with data entry and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence beneficial (not essential)
