Job summary

Network Plus in Nottingham is seeking a Stores Person to manage and control yard stores for Severn Trent Water. You will ensure efficient stock distribution and liaison with supervisors to support field operations.

You will issue stock, maintain Sage records, and uphold safety compliance while coordinating with suppliers and operations teams. A Telehandler license and MS Office skills are required; salary is £30,139 per year.

Qualifications

• Telehandler license required.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/Email).
• Familiar with Sage stock management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor depot and stores location with strong housekeeping.
• Issue all stock to Operations teams.
• Record all stock issued in Sage.
• Store, catalogue and distribute supplies; arrange collection/delivery of equipment and packages.
• Source strategic stock at short notice.
• Ensure PPE availability for safe working environment.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery specifications.
• Check quantities against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Oversee health, safety & compliance within the yard.
