Toyo Tyre Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian subsidiary of the Japanese multinational tyre manufacturer who has been operating in the Australian market for over 45 years, with a national sales and distribution footprint in every state and territory and seven distribution centres nationally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Toyo Tyre Australia Pty Ltd have a position available for a store person in our Brisbane distribution centre at Coopers Plains, where the only inventory handled is rubber pneumatic tyres. This is a fulltime position on day shift working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (actual hours to be determined at interview).

DUTIES
  • Receive inventory shipments, hand unload shipping containers and put away stock.
  • Pick and despatch customer orders.
  • Rotate and transfer stock.
  • Complete/submit transport consignment notes and manifests.
  • General warehouse duties.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with tyre warehouse experience being an advantage.
  • The candidate needs to be physically fit, dependable, possess a good level of initiative and have an eye for detail.
  • Previous experience with Transport Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
  • A forklift licence is essential for this role.
