Job summary

BaxterStorey is recruiting a Storeperson / FOH Assistant at Cambridge Judge Business School. You will support front-of-house and back-of-house operations, maintain cleanliness, assist deliveries and stock, and help ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing – wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Kitchen cleanliness – sanitize surfaces and work areas.
• Deliveries – store deliveries and rotate stock.
• Inventory management – receive, store, and organise supplies.
• Health and safety compliance – maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.

Job Description

• Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
• Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Deliveries – Put away deliveries in store rooms, assist the chef's with dry stores, stock rotation
• Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Compliance with Health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order

Qualifications

• No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
• Physical stamina and lift heavy objects, move large trollies.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices, stock rotation knowledge
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
