Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group UK&I, invites applications for a part-time Kitchen Porter in Pontefract. You'll help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs, and prepare drinks and basic food prep in a busy environment. This 30-hour week role offers opportunities to learn and progress within a caring, people-powered team.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Porter to help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen at Eurest on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the kitchen is always kept at a high standard of cleanliness
• Working quickly to prepare fresh food in a busy kitchen
• Guaranteeing our chefs have everything they need to make our fresh dishes
• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Being an enthusiastic team player
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
