Are you naturally inclined towards physical tasks and passionate about the practical aspects of Construction and Brickwork practices?
We're seeking an organised & conscientious individual to provide vital technical and storekeeping support to the curriculum, within our busy Brickwork workshop environment. This role will be part of the Technical Support team, based at our Altens Campus, Aberdeen.
This position calls for individuals with an understanding of the Construction / Brickwork industry, particularly in materials recycling. Organisation, adaptability, and the ability to work independently are key aspects of the role, along with an understanding of & the ability to use computers.
Workload flexibility, meeting deadlines and Health and Safety awareness are all crucial, as this role involves a diverse workload and hands-on support with brickwork practices and general material preparation.
Applicants should preferably have some experience in support and storekeeping within the Construction & Brickwork industry or within a similar customer-focused practical based environment.
Candidates should hold an NC (SCQF Level 4 or equivalent) qualification in Construction and preferably have recent relevant experience in the Brickwork industry. Familiarity with learning environment technology is advantageous but not essential.
A large element of manual handling & practical work is to be expected as part of this role.
