Job summary

Omega Resource Group is recruiting a Storekeeper for a contract onsite role in Hardwicke, Stonehouse, to support advanced manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will handle goods movement, inventory control, and accurate documentation in a busy warehouse environment.

The role covers inspecting deliveries, storing and picking items, packing for dispatch, and conducting cycle counts. Experience with MRP systems is preferred, and a forklift licence is advantageous after training;

Qualifications

• Experience working in a store environment is required.
• Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience with MRP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and accept incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Receive, label, store, pick, pack, issue and track inventory.
• Improve warehouse efficiency by optimizing bin locations and maintaining housekeeping.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic physical counts.
• Support Kanban and other replenishment initiatives as directed by the Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and operate forklift after training.
