Morrisons is recruiting a high performing Trading Manager to help the business grow and succeed. The role focuses on ensuring stores are fully stocked to deliver an excellent customer experience across all departments.

Reporting into the Store Manager, you will lead teams, plan promotions, respond to customer feedback, and drive strong availability. The role demands leadership, staffing management, and a focus on results within a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to the best standard and ensure an excellent shopping experience for every customer
• Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events
• Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
• Ensure market leading availability across the store
• Work with other Managers to lead a supportive, performance-driven department
• Efficiently manage all people routines: scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations
• Deliver training to ensure capability and confidence in roles
• Motivate and lead colleagues across departments
• Identify and develop talent within the department
• Build relationships with other operating departments
• Lead colleagues to deliver targets and take a leadership role within the store
• Ensure resource planning is thorough
