Job summary

Home Bargains is hiring Store Team Members for the Garden Centre at Yiewsley. You will help customers, handle cash, process deliveries and maintain plants. The role requires hardworking, reliable individuals who can work evenings and weekends.

The position offers 20 hours per week with pay of £13.71 per hour (18–20) and £14.00 per hour (21+), including a £1 regional allowance. Store discounts and other benefits apply.

Location: 217 High Street, Yiewsley, West Drayton, UB7 7GN

Our Store Team Members deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product queries and providing a prompt service with a smile.

Store Team Members based in the Garden Centre will also cover general store duties when required.

Package

Salary & Hours

13.71 per hour (18-20), £14.00 per hour (21+).

• The above pay includes a non-contractual and non-transferable Regional Allowance (£1.00 per hour)

20 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Job Overview

Candidates will be hardworking, enjoy working in a retail store and have experience of cash handling, processing deliveries andpreferably have experience of working in a garden centre or similar.

Successful candidates are provided with on-the-job training and gain essential transferable retail and hospitalityskills.

Main job responsibilities include:

Some Store Team Members working in the Garden Centre may be asked to attend Fork Lift Truck (FLT) training at our National Training Centre and Head Office in Liverpool. Travel and accommodation is provided.

• Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment - experience within a similar role is preferable
