Job summary

NEXT is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to support stock processing and customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You will ensure accurate stock handling, glamorous presentation on the shop floor, and maintain clean, organized areas while assisting customers with a friendly, proactive attitude.

You will join a team and work under Supervisors/Managers, with a strong emphasis on flexible, responsive support and personal development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and a friendly, calm manner under pressure.
• Accurate, thorough and well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a store team and support customers across sales floor and stock areas.
• Right to work in the UK is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Process stock quickly and accurately, including scanning, unpacking, hanging, size cubing and stocking.
• Ensure stock is presented well on sales floors and in stockrooms.
• Keep store areas clean, tidy and organized.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service on front or back of store and on the sales floor.
