Footasylum in Braehead, near Glasgow, is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead from the front in a fast-paced fashion retail environment. You will coach Sales Assistants, drive customer service, and ensure high standards to deliver outstanding results across the store.

This role supports strong teamwork, training, stock control, and merchandising while maintaining Footasylum's ethos of Defy Ordinary. 40-hour week; benefits discussed at interview.

We're looking for an energetic and inspiring Store Supervisor to lead from the front and bring out the best in their team. You'll play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience, coaching Sales Assistants to achieve their potential, and driving high standards across the store. In this fast-paced retail environment, you'll motivate colleagues, solve challenges with confidence, and help deliver outstanding commercial results every day.

The Team

You’ll work directly with an established store team to create the best possible shopping experience for our customers. At Footasylum, we value and believe in our front-end Retail colleagues. Desirable Skills
  • The successful candidate must have passion for Fashion Retail and our company ethos

  • You will have ideally worked previously in Fashion Retail

  • Experience in managing and motiving a team of Sales Assistants

Responsibilities
  • Sales. To maximise the number of sales in-store.

  • Service. To satisfy and build loyalty through customers to ensure they return.

  • Profit Protection and Stock Control. To monitor stock across your store whilst ensuring employees’ safety and well-being on company premises are met at all times.

  • Merchandising, Space, Stock and Display. To display products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers.

  • Human Resources (HR). To safeguard colleagues’ interest by ensuring consistency and fairness in the treatment of employees by adhering to all policies and procedures within the business.

  • Training and Recruitment. To provide and participate in a range of planned activities that enable you to develop the Company’s skills, attitude, and knowledge.

  • Profit and Losses (P&L). Control the day-to-day expenses to run a store successfully.

  • Property. To maintain the property portfolio.

  • Health and Safety. To ensure all safety provisions on the store’s premises are adhered to daily.

  • Forward Planning and General Duties. To plan for the future and assist in the efficient running of the unit.
