As a Store Manager you will work in store and really drive the success of your store and inspire your teams with your love for great customer care. Your passion and strategy will help the business to grow and change for the better. With opportunities to progress your career in beauty, healthcare and opticians, our training teams will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed in your current role and beyond.

About the role

You will:

  • Lead, challenge and inspire your team to deliver business growth by providing exceptional care to our customers and patients.
  • Lead the sales and performance of your store, whilst keeping our customers close to heart.
  • Be a passionate ambassador for our Boots brand, helping us work towards becoming the world's best pharmacy led health and beauty retailer.
  • Make the shop floor your own, get to know our teams, sales and operations.
  • Consider what can we do to change for the better to set Boots apart from other retailers.
  • Get to know your teams – find out what they like and what they want to see change.
What you’ll need to have

Are you ready to take the next step in your retail career? At Boots, we’re looking for ambitious future leaders who are passionate about people, retail, and delivering outstanding results. As part of our 12‑week Store Manager Training Programme, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a variety of stores — learning from experienced leaders and developing the skills to confidently run your own store. During training, you’ll need to be flexible to travel between different locations, but once you complete the programme, you’ll be based in your own store — ideally one of our larger flagship locations. We’re looking for individuals with the ambition to progress, who see this as the first step toward managing big stores or developing into an Area Manager role in the future.
