Jollyes Pets in Poole is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day store operations, coach a hands-on team and ensure outstanding customer service. You will be out on the shop floor, guiding deliveries, stock movements and in-store performance to meet targets.

The role requires a proven retail management background, a hands-on leadership style and the ability to drive sales while maintaining high standards. A great opportunity with a well-known pet retailer.

Retail Store Manager - Jollyes Pets - Poole. Salary £30,000 - £34,000 p.a. + bonus potential of up to £5k p.a.. This is a hands-on leadership role, on the shop floor daily, coaching your team through live customer interactions, helping with deliveries, and setting the standard through what you do, not just what you say. To be successful in this role, joining as a Store Manager you'll need the following skills and experience: A genuine passion for pets and people - delighting customers with an unrivalled shopping experience. Expect to meet customers with paws, claws or feathers, so comfort around animals is a must. Previous retail store management experience, with a hands-on approach to running the business day-to-day and planning for short, medium and long-term success. Commercially confident on the shop floor - comfortable modelling and coaching upselling and add-on sales conversations with customers, not just reviewing sales figures after the fact. A sound decision-maker who communicates objectives clearly and builds high-performing, engaged teams, with succession plans in place for future leaders. A proven track record of developing business performance and exceeding KPIs, while maintaining high store standards, health & safety, and legal compliance. Commercially aware, able to manage your P&L with a proactive approach. Own transport with a UK driving licence, as occasional out-of-hours store visits or regional cover may be needed.

Competitive salary of £30,000 - £34,000 p.a., plus annual bonus potential of up to £5k p.a. (subject to reaching pre-agreed measures).

Full time, permanent - 40 hours/week, 5 days out of 7. Weekends can be our busiest days so some cover on weekends is required. On completion of 3m probation period.
