Job summary

JD Sports Fashion is seeking a Store Colleague in the United Kingdom to deliver a welcoming customer experience, assist with product information, and help meet shop targets.

You will maintain high standards of presentation, replenish stock, process transactions, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Identify customer needs, recommend suitable products, and promote complementary items to help achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation across the shop floor.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are displayed correctly in line with company standards.
• Handle transactions, cash, stock processing and deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support enquiries and operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support day-to-day store operations.
• Take on additional duties as required by the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
