Job summary

JD Sports Fashion is hiring a Store Colleague for our Redditch store. You will greet customers, keep displays sharp, replenish stock, and help deliver outstanding service daily.

You'll work on the shop floor with a supportive team, process transactions, follow health and safety rules, and participate in delivering the high standards we are known for.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly customer service.
• Able to adapt communication style to different customers.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Good organisational skills to manage tasks on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.

As a Store Colleague, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding experience every day, helping customers feel valued, supported, and excited about our products.

You'll play an active role on the shop floor by greeting customers confidently, keeping displays looking sharp, replenishing stock, and maintaining high service and presentation standards.
