Job summary

Tesco is hiring store colleagues to serve customers with passion, flexibility and teamwork. The role offers guaranteed hours (16 per week) with options to work down to 12 hours, a starting hourly rate of £13.28, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, and a range of benefits.

You will be part of a diverse team and help create a welcoming shopping experience. You will need to deliver great service, build rapport with customers, work across store areas, and follow training to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.

• Make timely decisions to meet customer needs and store routines.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand store performance and collaborate to drive service, sales, reduce waste and protect profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and reach customers in good condition.
• Be yourself, live Tesco values, and make everyone feel welcome.
• Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
