Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a flexible and customer-focused Colleague to join our in-store team. You will provide friendly service, assist customers, replenish shelves, handle checkout tasks, and support online order picking and occasional deliveries.

Hours are part-time with a minimum of 12–16 hours per week, scheduled around availability. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and delivering great service with pride in every interaction.

Qualifications

To be over 18 for this role.
A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.

Responsibilities

Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
