Job summary

Heron Foods Limited is seeking a Part-Time Store Cleaner for our Longbenton store in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Help keep the store clean, safe and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You’ll clean the shop floor, shelves, offices and staff areas, with a flexible 10-hour weekly schedule.

The role suits someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working as part of a team. Experience in retail or office cleaning is helpful but not essential; full training will be provided.

What You'll Do:

As a Part-Time Store Cleaner, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all areas of the store. Your duties will include:

• Ensuring the shop floor, freezer lids, and shelves are clean and tidy.
• Maintaining cleanliness within the office, canteen, and staff toilet areas.
• Supporting the store team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
