Job title: Store Assistant

Reports to: Retail Manager

Location: Battersea Power Station

Contract: Temporary (approx. 10 weeks) Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 10 am to 4 pm

18 hours per week

Role may be come permanent after 10 weeks temporary.

Salary: £13.85 per hour

About The Role

ThruDark is recruiting for a sales assistant to support the successful operation of our Battersea Power Station pop-up store.

As a Retail Sales Assistant at ThruDark’s Battersea Power Station pop-up, you’ll play an important part in delivering a premium in-store experience. Working closely with the management team, you’ll help drive daily performance, support your teammates, and ensure every customer leaves with a strong impression of the brand. You’ll embody ThruDark’s core values of Humility, Unity and Integrity by delivering confident, hands‑on service and maintaining a professional, approachable presence on the shop floor.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example by providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Positively promote the brand during interactions and upholding the brands values of ‘Humility, Unity and Integrity’.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to restock merchandise as needed
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to company standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times and legal requirements in all areas of the store
  • Extensive knowledge of POS systems and follow processes used when placing transactions through the POS.
