Job summary

Toolstation Limited is hiring a Store Assistant for Swansea Enterprise Park at 10 hours per week. You’ll greet customers, help them locate products, and support deliveries and stock.

The role requires reliable attendance, flexibility with early starts and late finishes, and a proactive, can-do attitude in a busy retail environment. This is a great stepping stone with opportunities to grow within the Toolstation/Travis Perkins group, with training through Toolstation Academy and Apprenticeship

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; willingness to learn is valued.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage deliveries and stock, and keep the store clean.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need and provide a friendly service.
• Handle deliveries and warehouse tasks.
• Stock shelves and prepare orders for pickup.
• Keep the store tidy and safe during busy periods.
• Assist with signing up customers to Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts when appropriate.

What you\'ll do

Store Assistant inSwansea Enterprise Park

10 hours per week

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store.

Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

This is more than just a store job.

You\'ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, but you\'ll also be hands‑on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves! It can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but if you care about doing a good job and providing great customer service, you\'ll fit right in.

No retail experience? No problem! All we ask is that you\'re committed to delivering excellent service, and we\'ll teach you everything else.

Get stuck in: Be ready to handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders. Hard work and a positive attitude are more important than experience.

Provide outstanding service: Whether you\'re chatting with customers or staying efficient during busy times, you\'ll always offer a great experience.

Ask the right questions: Show genuine interest in customers\' projects so you can help them find everything they need to get the job done right.

Be Proactive: you\'ll be expected to sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up to experience great deals and competitive prices.
