Toolstation Limited in Thirsk is seeking a Store Assistant for a 20-hour weekly shift. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers find what they need, handle deliveries, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.

We value a positive attitude and commitment to great service. Local applicants who can commute easily are encouraged to apply; training will be provided to cover all aspects of the role, including tools and accessories.

• No retail experience? No problem! All we ask is that you’re committed to delivering excellent service, and we’ll teach you everything else.
• Be prepared to handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.

What you'll do

Store Assistant - Thirsk - 20 hours

We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store.

Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

This is more than just a store job.

You\u2019ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, but you\u2019ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves! It can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but if you care about doing a good job and providing great customer service, you\u2019ll fit right in.

Ask the right questions: Show genuine interest in customers\u2019 projects so you can help them find everything they need to get the job done right.

Be Proactive: you\u2019ll be expected to sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up to experience great deals and competitive prices.
