Job summary

Toolstation Ltd is seeking a Store Apprentice in Walton-on-Thames for a 20-hour week, offering hands-on training across customer service, merchandising, and store operations. You will learn by doing, deliver great service to customers, and rotate through stock, deliveries, and safety procedures.

You'll earn while you learn, with coursework supported by your Store Manager and apprenticeship coach, and have opportunities to progress within the wider Travis Perkins Group.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship-based training in in-store operations and customer service.
• No prior retail experience required; attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Commitment to completing coursework alongside on-the-job training.
• Structured learning through a formal apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, understand needs and provide excellent service.
• Assist with deliveries, stock shelves and support warehouse tasks.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well organised for customers and colleagues.
• Contribute to smooth store operations and learn business processes.
• Set time aside weekly to complete coursework with support from management.
