Job summary

Stockroom Controllers are wanted in Stoke-on-Trent for immediate start. Roles include full-time (45 hours+) with overtime and part-time up to 20 hours weekly. Pay starts at £18.60/hour days, £23.50/hour nights, £28.50/hour overtime and bank holidays.

PAYE or Self-Employed options are offered, with weekly or monthly pay. You will handle deliveries, check items for damage, unload using trolleys or forklifts, and maintain stock records and control while keeping work areas neat.

Responsibilities

• Taking delivery of goods and signing delivery notes
• Checking goods for missing or damaged items
• Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• Stacking goods in the correct place
• Keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• Carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• Sometimes selling items to customers
• Picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• Keeping the work areas clean and tidy
