Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is seeking Stockroom Controllers in Newcastle for immediate start. Roles include full-time (45+ hours per week) and part-time options (up to 20 hours). Rates start at £18.60/hour days, £23.50/hour nights, £28.50 overtime and bank holidays.

Roles involve receiving deliveries, checking goods, unloading with forklifts or trolleys, stock control, and record-keeping on a computer. PAYE or self-employed contracts offered, weekly or monthly pay options.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and warehouse duties.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts
• checking goods for missing or damaged items
• unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• stacking goods in the correct place
• keeping records of goods, normally on a computer
• carrying out stock control on a regular basis
• sometimes selling items to customers
• picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out
• keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
