Job summary

  • Demonstrate products and inform customers about promotions.
  • Operate POS systems and process payments and returns.

Street Life are seeking a Stock/Sales Assistant to support inventory handling and stockroom organization, keeping an efficient supply flow to the sales floor or other departments. This role will enhance customer experience and support sales operations through direct service, merchandising, and front‑of‑house assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Unpack, inspect, and book in deliveries using scanners/manual records; record discrepancies.
  • Label, arrange, and store items in an orderly fashion; maintain stockroom cleanliness.
  • Restock merchandise to sales floor; prepare outgoing orders and deliveries.
  • Inspect stock for damage or defects and report issue.
  • Greet and assist customers; assess needs; answer product inquiries.
  • Inform customers about features, promotions, and pricing; demonstrate products.
  • Operate POS systems; process payments, returns, and exchanges.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift/move heavy items.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Further Information

Working hours: up to 25 hours per week, flexible as approved by a Work Coach, and extra hours may be offered. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
