The Role:

The stock room assistants play a vital role in our store teams to ensure our products are ready and available for our customers. They manage the organised and logical transition of stock from delivery through to the sales floor. The Stockroom Assistants also ensure stock accuracy by applying tight controls to all stock movements and the maintenance of the general stock space.

Here's a breakdown of what you'll be doing:

• Contribute to the profitability of the store by receiving, handling and managing the inventory of deliveries in a timely and organised manner.
• Check deliveries for accuracy and verify that the quantity received matches the quantity sent.
• Ensure that products are accessible, available and ready for the sales floor.
• Ensure that products are adequately stored to prevent damage.
• Ensure replenishment stock transitions to the sales floor, as priority, upon receipt.
• Help the Service team with replenishment activities.
• Assist with markdowns during sale periods.
• Conduct Cycle counts.
• Participate in formal stocktakes
• Decrease store shrinkage by researching inventory discrepancies and reporting suspicious activities to store management.
• Complete Transfers Out within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and orderly stock room.
• Actively follow and promote company health and safety.

Who we're looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in stock management within a high-volume, premium or luxury retail environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail across a diverse multi-brand product range, with a proven ability to maintain stock accuracy and minimise shrinkage through effective cycle counts, stocktakes and discrepancy investigations.
• Demonstrates a high standard of product care, ensuring luxury products are handled, stored and presented appropriately to reach the sales floor in impeccable condition.
• Confident in the use of stock management systems and EPOS platforms.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities during deliveries, brand launches and peak trading periods without compromising standards.
• Proactive and solution-focused, identifying issues, investigating root causes and taking ownership of resolutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with sales floor teams and support loss prevention, security and health and safety requirements.
• Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on role across a flexible Monday to Sunday rota.
• Performs routine and team-specific tasks within established processes and under direct supervision, seeking support when faced with non-routine challenges.
• Understands how their responsibilities contribute to the wider team's objectives and recognises the importance of collaboration in delivering excellent results.
• Consistently follows established procedures, priorities and deadlines, carrying out routine activities accurately within a structured environment.
• Operates with limited autonomy and decision‑making responsibility, adhering to defined processes and guidance.
• Has a direct and measurable impact on the customer experience, recognising that the quality and accuracy of their work contributes to the overall effectiveness and reputation of the team.
• Demonstrates clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, alongside a courteous and respectful approach to colleagues and customers.
