Job summary

QD Stores Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Picking Operative to support our distribution centre in the United Kingdom. You will be on your feet, using handheld devices to pick stock accurately and prepare items for shipping.

This role requires adherence to health and safety rules, attention to detail, and the ability to work 40 hours across 5 days (6am–2:30pm) or 24 hours across 3 days (Wed–Fri). No formal degree required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items safely.

Job description

A warehouse picking operative plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain of a warehouse. Their primary responsibility is to accurately and efficiently select stock from the warehouse inventory to fulfil store deliveries.

You’ll be on your feet all the time using a handheld device to achieve set targets. As well as picking stock, you’ll package and prepare goods for shipping, all the while ensuring goods are stacked safely so they arrive at our stores in perfect condition.

Our distribution centre is a busy place, so you must adhere to all health and safety measures.

40 hours per week over 5 days. 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

or

24 hours per week over 3 days Wed/Thu/Fri. 6am to 2.30pm.
