Job summary

VEKA UK Group is seeking a Stock Movement Operator to support the Lamination team in Burnley. You will manage stock movements between warehouse and production, using SAP and Teklogix RF scanners to ensure timely materials and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business to support production targets, maintain housekeeping, and contribute to a positive team environment in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain base material feed for Lamination lines and remove finished stock.

  • Move base product into warehouse and retrieve for lamination use.
  • Follow safe driving methods at all times.

The role

Looking for a role where you can make a real impact on production operations?

Join VEKA as a Stock Movement Operator and become a key part of our Lamination team. In this role, you'll ensure materials are in the right place at the right time, helping to keep production running efficiently and supporting the manufacture of the high-quality products our customers expect. Using a combination of material handling equipment, SAP, and handheld scanning technology, you'll accurately manage stock movements between the warehouse and production areas while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll play an important role in supporting production targets, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, and contributing to a positive team environment. What you'll do
  • To maintain a base material feed for the Lamination lines and to remove finished stock from the lines.
  • Understanding of lamination production plan with regards to work requirements.
  • To be fully conversant and competent in the operation of SAP systems within this area.
  • To be conversant and competent with hand held Teklogix RF Scanners.
  • To move base product into Warehouse and to retrieve it for use in the lamination department.
  • Ensuring safe driving methods are operated at all times.
