Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Stock Controller in Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will manage accurate stock levels, monitor movements, and conduct stock checks. Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our busy client in Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in stock control and inventory management, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient stock movement across the business.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Pay Rate

£13.00 p/h

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate stock levels across all systems
  • Monitor stock movements, including goods in and out
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly
  • Liaise with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain up-to-date records for audits and reporting
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a stock control or inventory management role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in using stock management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
