Job Description:
What You'll Do:
- Be an essential part of our Front of House team, ensuring the bar area runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive, helpful attitude, always going the extra mile to meet customer needs.
- Serve drinks, clear tables, and maintain cleanliness to ensure the bar and surrounding areas are spotless at all times.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation conducive to a front of house environment.
- To provide the highest standard of dining room service (of both food and beverage) as directed by the Head Steward or manager.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and associated areas by completing all tasks allocated on the cleaning schedule.
- To assist with refreshment services and functions within other units.
- To assist with the Head Steward in function preparation.
- To ensure the correct use, storage, and control of machinery, equipment, cleaning materials and chemicals, ensuring that safe systems of work are followed at all times.
- Immediate reporting of any defects to your line manager.
- Ensure that tables are laid and that clearance is effective ensuring that the dining environment is clean and free from debris and dirty crockery at all times.
- To ensure that replenishment of condiments, bread rolls tea and coffee etc is maintain throughout meal service.
- To assist in basic food preparation e.g. condiments.
- To ensure that crockery, cutlery, EPNS and Silver is checked for cleanliness before use.
- To assist with plate wash duties.
- Compliance to the Health and Safety Act, Food Safety Act and COSHH regulations.
- Maintenance of the company Quality Control Procedures.
- To develop your own skills within the scope of this position.
What You Bring:
- Must be 18 or older due to licensing regulations.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, to support the operational needs of the business.
