Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland invites applications for a Sterile Services Assistant at the Inverness Dental Centre. This role focuses on decontaminating instruments for NHS dental sites and podiatry clinics, supporting a busy 8-surgery clinic and 14 open-plan teaching chairs.

The post is 23 hours per week, with in-hours work and weekend shifts for out-of-hours service. Full current driving license and car use for work are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a member of a team is essential.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Previous Sterile Services experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate instruments for NHS dental sites and podiatry clinics.
• Work as part of a team in a busy clinical setting.
• Take part in weekend and out-of-hours service as required.
