A leading healthcare solutions provider in Chesterfield is seeking a Sterile Services Technician. This entry-level role offers full training and a defined career path. You will oversee the sterilization process for surgical instruments, ensuring patient safety. The position comes with an annual salary of £24,465 plus a performance bonus and extensive benefits including 25 days of annual leave.

We are currently recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at an entry-level and receive world-class training to get you on to a defined career pathway.

12 weeks training, the first few weeks you will work on Monday-Friday at 9:00-17:00. Thereafter, training will continue during your regular shift hours which will be alternating weeks with one week on 7am until 3pm then the following week on 12noon until 8pm.
Access to a Level 2 Healthcare Science Assistant Apprenticeship. This is a 12-15 month fully funded programme studying good scientific practice for the Healthcare profession. It is universally applicable outside of STERIS. Completed on the job, you are given 20% of your working hours to study towards the qualification. Further apprenticeships are available throughout the course of your career!
Educated on good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities. Basic end-user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT systems.
