Job summary

A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Full-Time Sterile Services Technician to enhance the efficiency of their Sterile Services Department. Responsibilities include operating sterilisation equipment, managing instrument trays, and ensuring compliance with quality systems. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 and preferably some experience in a sterile services environment. The role also promotes communication and teamwork within departments, and encourages applications from Welsh speakers.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Sterile Services Department.
  • Ability to work within Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Driving is required for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Operate washer disinfectors, sterilisers, and decontamination equipment.
  • Control the collection and dispatch of instrument sets and packs.
  • Communicate concise information to colleagues daily.
