A leading healthcare organization in Wales is seeking two Full-Time Sterile Services Supervisors to join their established team. Candidates will manage daily workflows, train staff, and ensure compliance with ISO standards within the sterile services department. Ideal candidates will have a suitable technical qualification in Decontamination Sciences and experience in staff management. Applications welcome in Welsh or English.
We are recruiting two Full-Time Sterile Services Supervisors. These positions offer successful candidates the opportunity to work within a well-established sterile services team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
The Sterile services supervisors will have extensive knowledge and skills of requirements for the product in line with the ISO 13485:2016 standard. They will support the management team in ensuring staff conform to the departmental Quality Management System, hospital policy and procedures, highlighting immediately any areas of concern.
The post holder will be responsible for assessing, organising, and planning the daily workflow within the sterile services department to ensure maximum usage of resources and the efficient and effective operation of the department.
They will provide training to senior and junior colleagues and act as a resource to support the technicians to reduce the Departmental and individuals' non-conformances.
The post holders will be expected to deputise in their absence with the support of the Sterile services Manager.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
