Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel, in partnership with Plymouth City Council, is seeking Step Forward Foster Carers in Plymouth and surrounding areas. This role involves welcoming a child into your home, providing safety, stability and emotional support within a fully supported team.

Applicants should be 21+, have a spare bedroom, and relevant experience with children or vulnerable groups. Visa restrictions apply; successful carers gain training and access to support networks in the local community.

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a spare, dedicated bedroom in your home.
• Have experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults (professionally or personally).
• Be a British citizen or hold ILR in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety, consistency, and emotional support to children in your home.
• Offer stability and love to help children rebuild their lives.
• Work as part of a supported team to help children transition from care into stable life.
