Overview

FE STEM Lecturers Needed in Slough across Engineering, Maths and Science. Roles are full-time or part-time, immediate and ongoing.

Pay: £25–£32 per hour (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities

• Engineering Lecturer (FE): Deliver Engineering programmes across FE pathways including BTEC, Level 2 and apprenticeships where applicable. Teach areas such as Mechanical, Electrical or General Engineering, supporting learners with practical and theoretical elements.
• Maths Lecturer (FE): Deliver GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths, support resits and progression targets, and differentiate effectively for mixed-ability groups.
• Science Lecturer (FE): Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Applied Science, delivering engaging lessons across FE programmes and preparing learners for assessments and further study.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in an FE or post-16 setting for the relevant subject.
• Relevant subject qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
