The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is advertising a Medical Laboratory Assistant Apprentice in the Cellular Therapy Laboratory. This Level 3 apprenticeship supports stem cell transplantation and advanced cellular therapies for cancer patients, training beside Biomedical Scientists in a regulated environment.

You will learn routine laboratory tasks, storage, quality control and safety, while developing meticulous skills for a career in healthcare.

Qualificações

• GCSE Maths, English and Science at grade 4/C or above; evidence required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with general laboratory portering.
• Assist with routine maintenance, cleaning and use of equipment.
• Perform clean room suite and general laboratory cleaning with biocide reagents.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and waste segregation.
• Support stock control, batch control and storage rotation.
• Participate in training and assessments for tasks.
• Assist with quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
