Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking experienced Steel Fixers for a major infrastructure project in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. You will read and interpret reinforcement drawings, cut, bend and fix steel, and assemble reinforcement cages on site.

Working as part of a civil engineering team, you will ensure all work is completed to specification prior to concrete pours, while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
• Experience on large infrastructure or civil projects.
• Hold CSCS Skilled Worker Card and Safety Critical Medical.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings for on-site fabrication.
• Cut, bend and fix steel reinforcement to engineering specs.
• Assemble reinforcement cages and secure to plan specifications.
• Ensure all workmanship meets project specifications before concrete pours.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality on site.

We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to join a major infrastructure project inThornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings, cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement, assembling reinforcement cages, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and to specification before concrete pours. You'll be working as part of a team on a large civil engineering project while maintaining high standards of quality, health, and safety.

Applicants must hold a valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card and have previous experience working on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects. A Safety Critical Medical is essential, and candidates must be willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all site safety procedures.
